     Harmon Lake is a brilliant lake next to Great Brook Lake, and needless to say, all our national parks are great locations to go to and Roosevelt Campobello International Park is no exception. A good place for whitewater paddling close to Great Brook Lake is Northern Inlet, and Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park is a fine campground nearby. Yeah, come here to Great Brook Lake for a fine time. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene spots, why not  
   go to Six Mile Lake close to Great Brook Lake, and you can stay the night at Sunkhaze Campground.
You can run the rapids of East Machias River close to Great Brook Lake, and the Mud Hole Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Summertime at Great Brook Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Great Brook Lake dipping
 
               down into the 0's through winter nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Great Brook Lake a wet spot; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month is June.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
