Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Gray Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Gray Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mainayr Campground, and there's whitewater on Narraguagus River for all you adrenaline       people. A good deal of precipitation falls at Gray Pond; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Don't leave Gray Pond without first going for a hike along the Lead Mountain Trail; some of the water nearby flows, like Shorey Brook. Camping at Eastbrook Campground is always a great experience, and there's good hiking along the Eagle Lake Trail. Any time is a tremendous                  time at Gray Pond if you adore the outdoors. If the weather is lovely, you obtain a tremendous vista of Spruce Mountain from Gray Pond.
