After a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and don't leave Grassy Pond without first paying a visit to Lower Wigwam Rapids. This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Pond is not the only spot close by, Dead Pond is a close by lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Old Stream. | | month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most while June is commonly the driest month. At Grassy Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while Grassy Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. here at Grassy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunkhaze Campground is a brilliant site for that, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Mopang Stream. Stay the night at Sunset Point Campground, and swamps can be such
exciting places, check out Big Heath if you're here at Grassy Pond. It's a great idea to visit Big Springy Brook, it's in close proximity to Grassy Pond; if you've had enough of Grassy Pond, Rocky Lake is close by.

Clifford Lake
 | 12 miles away Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
