High temperatures at Grassy Pond through the summertime months are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Grassy Pond gets a large amount of water; November is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. Black Brook Ponds is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Pleasant River is a nice whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Grassy Pond is right by the Mud Hole Trail, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Machias River.

 | 16 miles away Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
