There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Squaw, and do take a hike on the Abol Trail. Hiking along the Abot Trail is good fun It's always great to stop by Katahdin Stream Falls. Summertime at Grassy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; the overnight is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets       highs in the 20's, and night lows at Grassy Pond during the wintertime usually plunge into the-10's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Daisey Pond is near Grassy Pond, and there's whitewater on Nesowadnehunk Stream River for all you adrenaline junkies. Grassy Pond gets a common amount of yearly rain; throughout July this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Abol Trail will let you absorb the                  natural beauty of this region, and Nesowadnehunk Stream is close to Grassy Pond and is always a bliss to go to. A magnificent place to camp here at Grassy Pond is South Branch Pond Campground. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Grassy Pond.
