     Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Nesowadnehunk Stream, and splendid hiking is available along the Abol Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nesowadnehunk Stream, and Grassy Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Pond Campground is a great local campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at Grassy Pond; July is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. There are some brilliant whitewater  
   spots on Nesowadnehunk Stream River, and you can go for a hike on the Abol Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at Grassy Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Grassy Pond sink into the-10's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the
 
               area right next door to Grassy Pond has to offer. Katahdin Stream Falls is an inspiring place to pop by while here, and lakes are such serene locations, why not take a look at Tracy Pond.
Don't leave Grassy Pond without first going for a hike along the Abot Trail, and the snow is great at Big Squaw. This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Elbow Pond close to Grassy Pond is a pleasant spot to have a look at; if you came to camp Chimney Pond Campground is a good site to do that.
