Beautiful Grassy Pond has much to offer visitors. During your tour to Grassy Pond you'll meet some folks from Rockland for sure, and the sight of beautiful Pleasant Mountain is great. Dry warm beds await you at Strawberry Hill Seaside Inn, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Mount Battie Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Trail is delightful fun. Grassy Pond is not the only place nearby, Tolman Pond is a nearby lake; a perfect site for whitewater paddling is St. George River. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at right next door to Grassy Pond is
Fish Pond Dam, needless to say you could also go to Lermond Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a good place to get some rest, and
playing golf is lots of fun at Goose River Golf Course. Summertime highs at Grassy Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Grassy Pond tend to be in the 10's.
