     You'll locate a scenic lake called Barren Pond near Grass Pond; swing by Barren Pond Brook it's a fine site to stop by. Going for a hike on the Lead Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you need a site to stay Bar Harbor Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Duck Pond near Grass Pond. There's so much to do here at Grass Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset Point  
   Campground is a great place for that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Grass Pond a wet place; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June.
A pleasant visit to The Middle Grounds is a great way to spend an afternoon, and paddling on Mopang Stream is so much fun. So much amusing stuff close to Grass Pond, truly incredible. Don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; Brandy Heath is right here at Grass Pond, and
 
               get wet paddling on Pleasant River. At Grass Pond during the summertime months highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's while Grass Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
