Camping at Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is always a perfect experience; the snow is nice at Sugarloaf USA. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Enchanted Stream, and brilliant hiking is available along the Sally Mountain Trail. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice choice, and if you've had enough of Grass Pond, Upper Pierce Pond is       nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Grass Pond is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. What a site this is for outdoors people. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Dead River, and don't leave Grass Pond without first going for a hike along the Fire Warden Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of Dixon Mountain from                  Grass Pond is gorgeous; you can go for a hike on the Arnolds Trail. A great location to camp here at Grass Pond is Northern Outdoors; after a long day outdoors Bingham Motor Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Grass Pond reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Grass Pond.
