The amount of rain that falls at Grass Pond is close to the national average; all through July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. You get a great view of Dixon Mountain from Grass Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Sugarloaf USA is a great place to do that. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dead River; there are       fine sites to discover along the Sally Mountain Trail. While you're here at Grass Pond, you could also stop at beautiful Fish Pond; Bingham Motor Inn is a great place to get some rest. Enchanted Stream has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Enchanted Outfitters & Lodge is a perfect site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A quick tour to Enchanted Stream in close proximity to Grass Pond is a great idea, and going for                  a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year at Grass Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Grass Pond are in the-10's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Grass Pond has to offer.
