You'll find a charming lake called South Boundary Pond near Grants Pond, and the Arnold Pond Trail is a brilliant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Kennebago River, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Arnold       Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Grants Pond a reasonably wet site; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be. Dead River - North Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and close by you locate the Morrell Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. What would winter be without                  some skiing at Saddleback. During the warmest time of the year here at Grants Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Grants Pond temperatures drop to the-10's.
