Allagash Gateway Campsite is a magnificent local campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Grant Brook Deadwater; Cedar Lake Trail is a good local trail. Grant Brook Deadwater is a good place of common rainfall; most of the rain falls during July,       and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Penobscot River - West Branch in the vicinity of Grant Brook Deadwater, and not far from Grant Brook Deadwater you'll locate Elbow Lake which is a charming lake. If you came for an overnight stay Hidden Springs Campground is a wonderful location to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Gray Ledge Dam Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this                  location. For you golfers we recommend nearby Hillcrest Golf Club, and a fine nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Grant Brook Deadwater is right by the Ragged Mountain Trail. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Grant Brook Deadwater is Millinocket Stream; lots of people from Bangor come here. At Grant Brook Deadwater throughout the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
