Lots of rain falls at Granger Pond; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is September. Through the long summer days highs here at Granger Pond get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime       highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Granger Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Shawnee Peak is next to Granger Pond. There's so much to do here at Granger Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Canal Bridge Campground is a good place for that. King Pine is a great local ski area. Pleasant Mountain Inn is a perfect place to get some rest; if you've had enough of Granger Pond,                  Moose Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Crooked River offers some magnificent whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Albany Mountain Trail. Soar down the rapids of Ossipee River in a kayak; Granger Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Pines Campground is a magnificent local campground. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Granger Pond. At Moose Pond Dam near Granger Pond there are some interesting things to see, and good hiking is available along the Province Brook Trail.
