There's so much to do here at Grand Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Greenland Cove Campground is a brilliant location for that, and nearby Whitehorse Reef is a brilliant site to go. Grand Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what       a great world it would be. Don't leave Grand Lake without first going for a hike along the Potters Trail. Scottish Inns Houlton is a delightful place to get some rest, and Birch Point is very near and is a perfect place to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a great local campground, and a lovely lake like Longfellow Lake is a good place to go to. Summertime highs at Grand                  Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Grand Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
