If you are in Aroostook county it's always a good idea to stop by Grand Lake. Grand Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. While you're here at Grand Lake you have to have a look at Birch Point; if you need a site to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a splendid choice. | | and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Potters Trail. At Grand Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Grand Lake dip into the 0's.
