     Taking a little tour to nearby Birch Point is a perfect idea; Grand Falls Flowage is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Long Lake Campground is a splendid local campground. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Grand Falls Flowage. There are other locations here than Grand Falls Flowage, for example Grand Falls Flowage, and you can run the rapids of St. Croix River. Summertime at Grand Falls Flowage arrives with high temperatures in the  
   70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Grand Falls Flowage temperatures drop to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Pudding Brook flows through this vicinity; a pleasant place to camp here at Grand Falls Flowage is Big Lake Campground. Grand Falls Flowage ordinarily gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of
 
               the rain while June is usually the driest month. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not pop by Enoch Lake near Grand Falls Flowage, and a tour to Roosevelt Campobello International Park is worthwhile.

There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
