Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Goose River Reservoir. Camping at Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort is always a great experience, and you don’t have to go far from Goose River Reservoir to spot the water at Bud Youngs Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Pines Golf Course; get covered with water paddling on Ducktrap River. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Goose River, and a visit to Patterson Point is always a good idea. Going for a hike on the Mount Battie
Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Steels Ledge is another splendid spot to check out close by. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Goose River Reservoir. Lakes are such calm spots, why
not explore Belfast Reservoir Number One in the neighborhood of Goose River Reservoir, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Mount Megunticook Trail. Belfast Harbor Inn is a great site to get some rest; the
Spring Brook Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Dry warm beds await you at Seascape Motel & Cottages; Camden is a delightful local ski area. The slopes of New Hermon Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and why not pop by close by Goose River if you're here at Goose River Reservoir.
