Goose River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through November, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Goose River Reservoir through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Goose River Reservoir. That right there is a load already,       but it continues; Goose River Reservoir has it all. Camden has great slopes and a friendly staff. There's so much to do here at Goose River Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Moorings Oceanfront RV Resort is a brilliant place for that. Go for a hike on the Spring Brook Trail, and you can hit the slopes at New Hermon Mountain nearby. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Get wet paddling on Ducktrap River; don't forget                  to take a great little spree to Goose River. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Goose River Reservoir and you like golf, you can explore Searsport Pines Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Belfast Harbor Inn is a delightful choice. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Goose River Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at The Moorings Campground, and after a long day outdoors Seascape Motel & Cottages is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Upper Mason Pond is close at hand; you'll meet a lot of folks from Rockland here. Paddling on Goose River is so much fun; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Mason Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Goose River Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail, and nearby you locate Patterson Point.
