Goose River Pond is a wet location that gets much rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while February is                  the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Goose River Dam is not far at all from Goose River Pond, and on a wonderful day you obtain a magnificent sight of Howard Hill from Goose River Pond. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really plentiful here at Goose River Pond. Whitewater paddling is nice on Oyster River; brilliant hiking is available along the Hockomock Nature Trail. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose River Pond; Mount Megunticook Trail is a pleasant local trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Goose River Pond reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's.
