Swamps like Mann Bog are fun to explore, and after a long day outdoors University Inn Academic Suites is a delightful location to spend a night or two. Goose Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; throughout November this area       sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Phillips Lake next to Goose Pond, and Bald Mountain is striking and can be observed from here. Hiking along the Blue Hill Trail is magnificent fun, and near Goose Pond you come across a golf course called Lucerne Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this                  vicinity; drift down the rapids of Branch Lake Stream in a kayak. Some of the water close by flows, like Tannery Brook, and Hales Beach is a lovely beach to go to. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. Branch Lake Camping Area is a glorious local campground; a gorgeous lake like Second Pond is a great spot to stop at. For the period of the days of summer at Goose Pond temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Goose Pond are in the 0's.
