A perfect place to visit right next door to Goose Pond is Sally Prude Ledge, and camping at Quiet Side Campground is always a perfect experience. Goose Pond is good enough
to spend more than a day at, Bass Harbor Campground is a good local campground, and a cool spot to stop at is High Head. This lake is so wonderful. You are in the neighborhood of Burnt Coat Harbor since you're here at Goose Pond,
and if you need a place to stay Ann's Point Inn is a good choice.
And that's not all you can do here at Goose Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Western Mountain South Face Trail, and you can spend the day on the beach
at Joyce Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful swamp next to Goose Pond is Lily Pond; the Wonderland Trail offers hiking at its best.
