A great deal of rain falls at Goodwin Pond; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a tremendous time. Near Goodwin Pond you hit upon the Milrose Trail which is a great hiking trail. If you come at the right time of year, Kennebago River offers some magnificent whitewater, and why not head up to Saddleback and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rapid River. Lakes are splendid; Little Mud Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Goodwin Pond. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Goodwin Pond has to offer, you can camp at North Camps, and going for a hike on the Bemis Trail is always a good adventure. High temperatures | |

at Goodwin Pond through the days of summer are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Goodwin
Pond during the wintertime commonly sink into the-10's. Goodwin Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Cupsuptic Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Bemis Stream
Trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Goodwin Pond. Not far from Goodwin Pond, you'll come across Cupsuptic Lake which is a picturesque lake; Wildwood Cove is not far at all. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains.
