     If you came for an overnight stay Patten Pond Camping Resort is a magnificent spot to camp, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Blue Hill Trail. It's a great idea to take a look at Carlisle Brook, it's in close proximity to Gold Stream Pond, and the Eagle Lake Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Homestead Motel and Cottages; get dripping wet paddling on Blue Hill Falls. All through the warm  
   days of summer highs here at Gold Stream Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Gold Stream Pond.
Carlisle Meadow is an attention-grabbing swamp close to Gold Stream Pond; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Hales Beach. Be careful coming to Gold Stream Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. You're probably hooked
 
               on lakes, Lower Patten Pond is one of those nearby; get yourself into a kayak and hit Narramissic River.
If you need a place to stay Twilite Motel is a great choice, and Balsam Cove Campground is a brilliant campground nearby. Gold Stream Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something next to Gold Stream Pond? Toddy Pond is in the vicinity, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....
