If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Godfreys Pond. Stay the night at Libby's Oceanside Camp, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Briley Pond is one of those close by. Whitewater paddling is good on Atlantic Ocean, and if you want to hit the beach, Seapoint Beach is in close proximity. You completely must like Godfreys Pond. Banks Rock is near Godfreys Pond and is a glorious place, and if you need a location to stay

Sewall Hill is a peak you can distinguish from Godfreys Pond, and a delightful nearby hotel is Best Western York Inn. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Godfreys Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Eaton is a splendid spot for that; there are swamps here too, Cefalo Swamp is nearby.

paddling on Great Works River; Little River is close to Godfreys Pond and is always a joy to go to. While you're here at Godfreys Pond you must stop at Argo Point; you're sure to run into some friendly folks from Portland-South Portland
here. All through the summer months here at Godfreys Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's, and night lows through
the wintertime for Godfreys Pond tend to be in the 10's.
Godfreys Pond is a quite wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the
least amount of precipitation. On a good day it's a tremendous idea to spend the day at Crescent Beach; if you've had enough of Godfreys Pond, Indian Pond is close by.
