There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Godfreys Pond. Any time is a delightful time at Godfreys Pond if you go for the outdoors. Why not stop by nearby Little River if you're here at Godfreys Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Atlantic Ocean. Godfreys       Pond is not the only site close by, Indian Pond is a close by lake, and Sewall Hill is simple to spot from Godfreys Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western York Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and Seapoint Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Camping is available at Libby's Oceanside Camp; why not camp at Camp Eaton if you're here at Godfreys Pond. During your spree to Godfreys Pond you'll                  meet some folks from Portland-South Portland for sure, needless to say you could also check out Barrells Millpond while you're here; it's not far at all. Argo Point is next to Godfreys Pond and is a pleasant place to visit, and Godfreys Pond is in the neighborhood of Banks Rock which is beyond doubt worth a visit. Summertime highs at Godfreys Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Godfreys Pond sink into the 10's. Godfreys Pond usually gets a good deal of precipitation; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
