Maine has many beautiful lakes and Glazier Lake is one of them. This is such a wonderful lake. Glazier Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Little Black Check Point is a good site to camp nearby. Get wet paddling on St. Francis River; the Rocky Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime at Glazier Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter

| | come with highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Glazier Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. Soar down the rapids of Falls Brook in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Glazier Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pelletier's Campground. Glazier Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August, and February is when it's the driest. | |
