This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, B Stream offers some great whitewater, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Glancy Lake; Potters Trail is a great local trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Meduxnekeag River - South Branch, and there       are other sites here than Glancy Lake, for example Pike Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Kennedy Tote Road. There's so much to do here at Glancy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, My Brothers Place is a delightful location for that. If you came to camp Wilde Pines Campground is a good place to do that. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Green Pond right next door to Glancy Lake, and if you need a place to                  stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a good choice. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Glancy Lake highs are commonly in the 70's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Glancy Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. This location rocks, just look at all the entertaining things to do near Glancy Lake. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Bigrock. Near Glancy Lake you come across a golf course called Houlton Community Golf Course, and fine hiking is available along the Pierce Tote Road.
