     Dry warm beds await you at Bingham Motor Inn; going for a hike on the Arnolds Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Titcomb has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and naturally Gilman Stream is a picturesque stream that is worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. This is a glorious area for people who like lakes. Aziscohos Lake is a lake in close proximity, and Gilman Stream Reservoir is a great site to visit for more than one day, Happy Horseshoe  
   Campground is a great site to camp nearby. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 70's at Gilman Stream Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gilman Stream Reservoir.
Just can't get enough of Gilman Stream Reservoir. Gilman Pond Campground is a glorious campground nearby; whitewater paddling is perfect
 
               on Sandy Stream. Very delightful water scenery is available at Gilman Stream Dam close to Gilman Stream Reservoir; Herbert Grand Hotel is a nice location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrabasset, and you can hit the slopes at Sugarloaf USA close at hand.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Hancock Pond, and Berry Hill is clearly visible from Gilman Stream Reservoir. Gilman Stream Reservoir gets a typical amount of annual rain; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that snows the most; February on the other hand is the driest. Go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
