    What a nice lake Gilman Pond is. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Gilman Pond. There's so much to do here at Gilman Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gilman Pond Campground is a wonderful place for that, and the Arnolds Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Titcomb is a fine local ski area, and Sandy Stream has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
A normal amount of rainfall falls
 
   here at Gilman Pond; most of the snow falls during November while February is commonly the driest month. While you're here at Gilman Pond, you could also pop by gorgeous Aziscohos Lake; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Fire Warden Trail. If you're here at Gilman Pond, you could pop by Alder Brook, and the peak of Berry Hill can be observed from Gilman Pond.

               check out, and Bingham Motor Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest. At Gilman Pond throughout the days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Gilman Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarloaf USA is rather near.
In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carrabasset, and if you came to camp Happy Horseshoe Campground is a great site to do that.

Breezy Acres Camps and Guide Service is located in both Solon and Eustis Maine. He have housekeeping cabins which are set up with full size stoves, refrigerators,microwave, coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The beds are made with linens and there are plenty of towels for the shower in the bathroom. Each cabin has its own picnic table, charcoal grill and outside fire pit. We can sleep up to 38 people.

You can access snowmobile and ATV trails right from the cabin for many miles of riding. Canoeing and kayaking on various lakes, ponds, streams and rivers are a great way to relax. Hunting, fishing, golf and white water rafting are some of the other activities that we offer.

We offer reasonable rates and great hospitality.

Eaton Mountain provides affordable and convenient skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing to the greater Waterville/Skowhegan area. The mountain boasts a suprising variety of terrain for a compact ski area including glades, challenging steeps, and classic New England style trails. Most of the area is covered with snowmaking and is lit for nightskiiing. Equipment rentals and lessons are available. The base lodge has a snackbar and provides a place to warm up by the wood stove and meet friends.
The ski area has new owners as of November 2008 and will not be operating for the 2008-09 ski season. The new owners will be taking the time to make improvements and prepare for a grand reopening in the fall of 2009. Immediate improvements are planned to include an all new snowtubing facility and widening of the Moose slope for a new terrain park.
The ski area is located on Lambert Road, just off Route 2 between Skowhegan and Canaan....
