Yorks Logan is a great lake right next door to Gile Logan, and from Gile Logan you obtain a delightful vista of Chick Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Bemis Stream Trail; skiing at Saddleback is one of those things you just should do. Camping is available at Black Brook Cove Campground; don't leave Gile Logan without first going for a hike along the Milrose Trail. From a precipitation point of view Gile Logan is a pretty common

Angel Falls Trail

I used to climb up as a kid, and I still love it. It is a fairly easy hike, but worth it at the end. There is one small brook crossing, but other then that, it is a great place to take kids young and old....

Bugeye Pond

I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises....
