Beautiful Georges Pond has much to offer visitors. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Georges Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge, and the trees of Crockett Cove Woods are a fine source of shade on hot summer days. So much exciting stuff to do here at Georges Pond, too tremendous to be true. Stay the night at Old Quarry Ocean Adventures; you can catch a sight of Burnt Hill from Georges Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

During the summer months highs here at Georges Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for Georges Pond tend to be in the 0's. the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you want to hit the beach, Lighthouse Beach is in the neighborhood. Lakes are great; Toffet Pond is a lake that's next to Georges Pond.
Since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always take a look at close by Olivers Pond, and if you want a little side spree, try The Haulover. If you need a location to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a fine choice, and paddling on Goose Falls is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Swamps are interesting sites and Labrador Swamp close to Georges Pond is no exception; hiking along the Black Dina Trail is glorious fun.
Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is a tremendous campground nearby.
Soar down the rapids of Blue Hill Falls in a kayak, and going for a hike along the Trail Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Take a hike on the Sawyer Notch Trail, and The Brook Beach is relatively nearby if you're in a beach type of mood.
