A visit to Lake George is always a good idea. Some of the water close by flows, like Lambert Brook, and you'll hit upon a stunning lake called Sibley Pond. The warmest time of the year at Lake George comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake George temperatures drop to the 0's. Head up

| | to Eaton Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and the summit of Foster Hill can be seen from Lake George.
This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent location to camp here at Lake George is Skowhegan/Canaan KOA, and a brilliant spot for whitewater paddling is Wesserunsett Stream. Clinton Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Waterville Inn.

a wet location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Lake George. During your trip to
Lake George you'll meet some folks from Augusta-Waterville for sure, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at K O A Kampgrounds is always a tremendous experience; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sebasticook River.
