Gauntlet Falls is a nice local attraction; there's whitewater on Pleasant River - East Branch for all you thrill seekers. An average amount of precipitation falls at Gauntlet Pond; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can       always take a look at nearby Mud Gauntlet Deadwater, and camping at Big Moose Campground is always a good experience. There are glorious locations to look at along the Jo-Mary Trail, and it's a tremendous idea to have a look at Gauntlet Brook. This lake is so wonderful.
