In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Gardner Lake is one of them. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Northern Inlet; there are other sites here than Gardner Lake, for example Second Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Chase Mill Dam, and the summit of High Head can be seen from Gardner Lake. Hammond Pond is a great lake close to Gardner Lake.

Gardner Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July.
