    In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Gardner Lake is one of them. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Northern Inlet; there are other sites here than Gardner Lake, for example Second Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Chase Mill Dam, and the summit of High Head can be seen from Gardner Lake. Hammond Pond is a great lake close to Gardner Lake.  
   You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gardner Lake has to offer, you can camp at Great Cove Golf Course and RV Park.
Gardner Lake is a relatively wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the summer months at Gardner Lake highs are regularly in the 80's, and the night is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. For
 
               the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Gardner Lake through the winter commonly fall into the 0's. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Gardner Lake rules! All our national parks are perfect spots to explore, and Roosevelt Campobello International Park is no exception.
Chase Mills Stream is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Gardner Lake, and you can stay the night at Cobscook Bay State Park.
