What a nice lake Frost Pond is. Frost Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. South Branch Pond Campground is a good local campground, and do go to Second Lake, it's a pretty lake. Through the warm days of summer here at Frost Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. is a great time at Frost Pond if you go for the outdoors. On a beautiful day you acquire a view of Wadleigh Mountain from Frost Pond; Matagamon Wilderness Campground is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
