Ripogenus Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. There's so much to do here at Frost Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chimney Pond Campground is a good place for that. From a precipitation point of view Frost Pond is a rather common place; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. If you       like the outdoors, you'll fancy Frost Pond. Don't leave Frost Pond without first going for a hike along the Abol Trail; get dripping wet paddling on Nesowadnehunk Stream. Go for a hike on the Old Telos Tote Road; after a long day outdoors Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Frost Pond reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold                  days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Frost Pond throughout the winter ordinarily drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
