This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Camden, and needless to say, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Goose River Pond is a lake nearby. If you need a site to stay The Country Inn Camden-Rckprt is a brilliant choice; why not camp at Loons Cry Campground       since you're here at Fresh Pond. Fresh Pond ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Fresh Pond. There's wonderful hiking along the Hockomock Nature Trail; Loon's Cry Campground is a glorious local campground. The Mount Battie Trail offers hiking at its best. During the days of summer here at Fresh Pond, high temperatures                  regularly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Fresh Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Howard Pond is in close proximity to Fresh Pond, and Henderson Ledge is in the neighborhood, and is a pleasant place. Dry warm beds await you at Samoset Resort on the Ocean, and Oyster River is a great whitewater spot close by.
