Goose Pond Dam is not far at all from Fresh Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Trail Point Trail. You truly have to go for Fresh Pond. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Bakeman Beach. This lake is so wonderful.
