     Goose Pond Dam is not far at all from Fresh Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Trail Point Trail. You truly have to go for Fresh Pond. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Bakeman Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at Bakeman Cove also while you're here, and close by you discover good spots like Hosmer Ledge. Benson Brook flows through this area; you simply must  
   take a look at Barneys Mistake while you're here at Fresh Pond.
For the duration of the warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Fresh Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Fresh Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.                could also stop by Mill Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Here at Fresh Pond you can see Backwood Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Narramissic River.
Good hiking is available along the Seal Point Trail, and a brilliant location to camp here at Fresh Pond is The Flying Dutchman Campground. Fresh Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Robin Hood Camp is a magnificent local campground, and a great beach nearby is Redman Beach. There are perfect places to explore along the Blue Hill Trail, and Fresh Pond is not the only spot nearby, Goose Pond is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Goose Falls since you're here at Fresh Pond. Fresh Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. There's whitewater on Goose Falls for all you thrill seekers, and swamps are attention-grabbing sites and Bells Marsh in close proximity to Fresh Pond is no exception.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....

Pitcher Pond is the picturesque lake to swim, boat, sail, or kayak. We own a cabin on the pond, and it is great to just get away from everything for the summer. The water is very warm, and my kids enjoy sailing our small sunfish. We have a beautiful view from across the pond, and we see no houses....
