There's so much to do here at French Stream that you need to camp here for a while, Stetson Shores Campground is a fine place for that. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a delightful sight of Bragg Hill from French Stream; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kenduskeag Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western White House Inn, and if you came to       camp Christie's Campground is a wonderful place to do that. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly bountiful here at French Stream. An afternoon playing golf at Todd Valley Golf Club & Driving Range is always a pleasure, and going for a hike on the Northwest Ridge Road is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. New Hermon Mountain is a great local ski area, and Pittsfield Motor Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest. French Stream Dam is                  a spot that is near French Stream; Pleasant Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. All the water falling down from the sky makes French Stream a wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. At French Stream during the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
