But wait, there's more cool things to do in the White Mountains. Johnson Mountain is pretty and can be seen from Fox Pond, and Fox Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Cupsuptic Campground is a fine local campground. Fox Pond gets lots of water; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. The Table Rock Trail offers hiking at its best; camping at Mollidgewock Campground is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Old Magalloway Trail, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Rapid River. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Fox Pond, you'll come across Long Pond which is a beautiful lake; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Magalloway River. Don't forget to take a magnificent
little visit to Ash Brook, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Cranberry Pond. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Fox Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Fox Pond.
