     Old Mill Camping Area is a splendid campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Penobscot River - North Branch. Not far from Fourth Saint John Pond, you'll find Third Saint John Pond which is a wonderful lake. Lakes are glorious; Summit Pond is a lake that's near Fourth Saint John Pond. An average amount of precipitation falls at Fourth Saint John Pond; July is when you get the most rain here while February is regularly the driest month. Austin  
   Brook is a great local stream; if you need a location to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a pleasant choice.
High temperatures at Fourth Saint John Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fourth Saint John Pond drop into the-10's. This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
