If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Forest Pond. Forest Pond gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. You're probably addicted to lakes, Nelson Pond is one of those close by; what would winter be without some skiing at Lost Valley. This lake is so wonderful. River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Fuller Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping
at; lots of people from Lewiston-Auburn come here. Through the days of summer highs here at Forest Pond reach the 70's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's;
nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Forest Pond tend to be in the 0's. Rol-lin Hills Campground is a great campground nearby, and you can run the rapids of Sandy River.
