     Folly Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This place is peerless, just explore all the exciting things to do close to Folly Pond. During your stay at Folly Pond do go to close by Indian Camp Beach, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Western Head Trail. There's so much to do here at Folly Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is a good site for that, and one of the best things about this place is its proximity  
   to Clayfers Beach. This lake is so wonderful. At Folly Pond you can distinguish Basin High Mountain; Camden has delightful slopes and a friendly staff.
Any time is a splendid time at Folly Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Goose Falls; after a long day outdoors Candlepin Cabin is a perfect place to spend a night or two. You could also check out Carvers Pond since you're here at Folly Pond; it's nearby, and don't
 
               forget to stop by The Basin since you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Duck Harbor Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Trail Point Trail. Tidewater Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest; you'll meet a lot of folks from Rockland here. Summertime highs at Folly Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Folly Pond.
Why not check out close by Gully Brook if you're here at Folly Pond, and a swamp like Mill River close to Folly Pond has lots of attention-grabbing things to see. Folly Pond gets a great deal of water; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Paddling on Ducktrap River is so much fun, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Ebens Head Trail.
