Long Pond is a lake in close proximity, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sugarloaf USA is a very popular ski area close at hand. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fogg Pond has to offer, you can camp at Woody's Campground and Cottages. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Horseshoe Pond is one of those close by, and       getting to Mountain Brook from Fogg Pond is trouble-free. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Float down the rapids of Enchanted Stream in a kayak; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Bald Mountain Trail. There's so much to do here at Fogg Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Loon Echo Campground is a nice site for that. Fogg Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain; February on                  the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Fogg Pond typically tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Fogg Pond fall into the-10's.
