 | Fun short spot, We made it a overnight trip and had a good old time. There needs to be a bunch of water in this stream to even make it doable. on 4/20 we were scooting-ass over many shallow spots in our yaks. Fun drops with laziness inbetween make for a good time especially for the novice.... |

Hermit Island Campground
 | 18 miles away 2 PHOTOS Sand Dune Beach on Hermit Island.... I am one of the owners of this campground.?A camper has made his own website, but it is NOT our official website and may contain old or inaccurate information.?Please check our website at www.hermitisland.com for accurate, up-to-date information.... Hermit Island is easily the best vacation your family will ever make. There are seven white sand beaches, which are not crowded at all. You could easily find that you have the entire beach to yourself. Among the other options, there are hiking trails, biking, fishing, boating, a full marina, swimming, and much more. The best part is that at night, when camping near the coast of the island, you fall asleep to the soft lull of the waves and the gentle summer breeze. It is truly one of Maine's hidden gems, as you will find no other place like it. There is something magical about it, that will draw you back year after year. My love for this place will never die out. For more information, check out the official travel guide for Hermit Island at www.hermitisland.weebly.com... |
