     Hiking is a popular thing to do around Floods Pond; Old Gold Mine Trail is a glorious local trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Buggy Pond is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Lake Stream, and a pleasant location to camp here at Floods Pond is Branch Lake Camping Area. From a precipitation point of view Floods Pond is a quite normal place;  
   November is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
Don't leave Floods Pond without first going for a hike along the Peaked Mountain Trail; if you want to hit the beach, Dunn Beach is in the vicinity. At Floods Pond during the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Floods Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in
 
               the 0's. Any time is a glorious time at Floods Pond if you love the outdoors. This is a great region for people who like lakes. Lower Springy Pond is a lake in close proximity, and Oak Hill can be distinguished from Floods Pond.
Homestead Motel and Cottages is a wonderful place to get some rest, and there's glorious hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail. After a long day outdoors White Birches Country Club is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; camping at Parks Pond Campground is always a good experience. This lake is so wonderful. Tannery Brook River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Floods Pond, and since you're here, do take a spree to Kimball Point.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.

We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us. Maybe you just want to lay around on our beach and do nothing but listen to the loons, whatever the case may be come and do it with us at Pushaw Lake Campground and let us make your camping experience the best yet....
