So much amusing stuff to do at Flood Lake, so little time. Scottish Inns Houlton is a good location to get some rest. All through the summer months highs here at Flood Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Flood Lake. Flood Lake is a relatively       wet place typically with much rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Grand Lake Stream; let's not forget Orie Lake Stream which is a stream that you may bump into while here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Flood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Keenes Lake Camping Grounds, and                  a lake nearby is Upper Flood Lake.
