At Flagstaff Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Flagstaff Lake. Good hiking is available along the Arnolds Trail, and don't leave Flagstaff Lake without first going for a hike along the Fire Warden Trail. Don't leave Flagstaff Lake without first       paying a visit to Long Falls, and there's some flowing water close by, Black Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Deer Farms Camps and Campground is a brilliant place to camp; Longfalls Dam is a delightful place. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Flagstaff Lake has it all. Skiing at Sugarloaf USA is one of those things you just have to do, and get yourself into                  a kayak and hit Spencer Stream. If you come at the right time of year, Little Spencer Stream offers some delightful whitewater, and Bingham Motor Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is a fine local campground; there's good hiking along the Bigelow Range Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
