If you need a site to stay       Glen Cove Inn and Suites is a perfect choice, and do take a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Goose River Golf Course; Camden is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Fish Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Fish Pond                  is right by the Ragged Mountain Trail, and here at Fish Pond you can catch a sight of Meadow Mountain. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Mount Battie Trail, and not far from Fish Pond you'll come across Grassy Pond which is a picturesque lake. At Fish Pond you always meet someone from Rockland; if you came to camp Alford Lake Camp is a splendid place to do that. During the warm months highs here at Fish Pond get into the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Fish Pond are in the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in close proximity to Fish Pond.
