After a long day outdoors Captain Lindsey House Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Mic Mac Cove Camp Ground while you're here at Fish Pond. Oyster River is a splendid whitewater spot close to Fish Pond; at Fish Pond Dam right next door to Fish Pond there are some interesting things to see. At Fish Pond you always meet someone from Rockland.       Looking for something near Fish Pond? Alford Lake is close at hand, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Fish Pond; Mount Battie Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Goose River Golf Course, and camping at Fish Pond is delightful fun, Sennebec Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. For the period of the warm months at Fish Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and all through                  summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Fish Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Fish Pond ordinarily gets a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Good hiking is available along the Mount Megunticook Trail, and from Fish Pond you acquire a brilliant panorama of Meadow Mountain. Be careful coming to Fish Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. George River, and you can go for a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail. Gotta ski!
