A visit to First Pond is always a good idea. At First Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at First Pond. There are some great whitewater spots on Blue Hill Falls, and the Old Cove Trail offers hiking at its best. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. | | Campground while you're here at First Pond; great hiking is available along the Blue Hill Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of First Pond, you could also stop by close by Mother Bush Pond, and Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Shore is around here, and why not stop by a swamp like Clapps Meadow while you're here at First Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around First Pond; Bald Mountain Trail is a fine local trail, and whitewater paddling is not for
everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Narramissic River. A nice location to camp here at First Pond is Robin Hood Camp, and after a long day outdoors Twilite Motel is a good spot to spend a night or two. And if that's
not sufficient, there's a load more to do in close proximity to First Pond. A lake close by is Second Pond, and why not take a little trip to Carleton Stream if you're here. From a precipitation point of view First Pond is a pretty
normal place; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
