American Dream Resort is a good local campground, and the Fox Brook Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Skew Falls is a splendid local attraction, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Island Pond Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Fish River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Ferguson Pond. In case you don’t have a problem       getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Machias River, and after a long day outdoors Crown Park Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Ferguson Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Clover Hill Campground since you're here at Ferguson Pond; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Round Trail.                  High temperatures at Ferguson Pond through the summertime are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
