Fawn Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; The Heath is nearby. Sea Breeze Motel is a good place to get some rest, and a trip to Acadia National Park is worthwhile. Breakneck Brook is a stream that you may run into while here; The Ovens is also a delightful spot to look at. The warmest time of the year at Fawn Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. stay Bar Harbor Campground is a delightful spot to camp. During your stay at Fawn Pond do check out nearby Lamoine Beach, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Union River. This
lake is so wonderful. Here at Fawn Pond you can observe Brewer Mountain, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the McFarland Hill Trail.
