There's so much to do here at Faulkner Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a perfect place for that. For the period of the summertime at Faulkner Lake highs are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Faulkner Lake through the wintertime mostly       fall into the 0's. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Baskahegan Stream, and why not take a little tour to Deering Brook since you're here. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Faulkner Lake. A pretty lake like Brackett Lake next to Faulkner Lake is a fine site to stop at, and after a long day outdoors Shiretown Motor Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. Do                  check out Longfellow Lake right next door to Faulkner Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and if you came to camp Greenland Cove Campground is a magnificent place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Scottish Inns Houlton is a magnificent place to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Faulkner Lake; Potters Trail is a pleasant local trail.
