From a rain point of view Faulkner Lake is a pretty common site; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to camp here at Faulkner Lake is Mountain View Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Potters Trail. You truly have to love Faulkner Lake. Deering Brook flows through this region; if you       need a site to stay Shiretown Motor Inn is a perfect choice. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two; a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Baskahegan Stream. For the duration of the long summer days here at Faulkner Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while                  Faulkner Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
