    If you are in Oxford county it's always a good idea to stop by Farrington Pond. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Oxford House Inn, and Lower Bay is in the neighborhood and always fine to visit. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You're probably hooked on lakes, Moose Pond is one of those close by; if you came for an overnight stay Cold River Campground is a tremendous place to camp.

   outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains. The Stone House Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Farrington Pond; golf can be played at Lake Kezar Country Club. A good deal of precipitation falls at Farrington Pond; all through November this area sees the most rain; September is the month with the least moisture. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Farrington Pond. Near Farrington Pond you  
               stumble on the White Cairn Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors White Mountain Hotel and Resort is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Very striking scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Sunday River, and soar down the rapids of Wild River in a kayak. On a wonderful day at Farrington Pond you can take a hike along the Cold Brook Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Crooked River. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Noah Eastman Pond is near Farrington Pond, and do check out Bradley Brook since you're here at Farrington Pond.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Skiing at Shawnee Peak is one of those things you just should do. The summit of Creeper Hill can be seen from Farrington Pond, and camping is available at Kezar Lake Camping Area. Summer at Farrington Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Farrington Pond dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
