If you are in Oxford county it's always a good idea to stop by Farrington Pond. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Having a perfect time at Farrington Pond is easy. There's so much to do here at Farrington Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cold River Campground is a wonderful spot for that, and hiking along the Stone House Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Really nice skiing awaits you at Shawnee Peak, and you can

Farrington Pond is a quite wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Going for a hike along the White Cairn Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and golf can be played at Lake Kezar Country Club. During the summertime highs here | |

at Farrington Pond reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Farrington Pond.
Skiing at Sunday River is one of
those things you just ought to do, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Crooked River. Lower Bay is in the vicinity and always great to have a look at, and since you're here, you could go to Bradley Brook. So much enjoyable
stuff near Farrington Pond, simply remarkable.
And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains. The sight of gorgeous Creeper Hill near Farrington Pond is brilliant, and if you need a
place to stay Oxford House Inn is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Little Pond close to Farrington Pond is a pleasant spot to pop by; a great nearby hotel is White Mountain Hotel and Resort. Now,
you may imagine that's a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the White Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Wild River offers some wonderful whitewater, and do take a hike on the Cold Brook Trail.
