If you are in Oxford county it's always a good idea to stop by Farrington Pond. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Oxford House Inn, and Lower Bay is in the neighborhood and always fine to visit. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. pleasant skiing is what you get at Sunday River, and soar down the rapids of Wild River in a kayak. On a wonderful day at Farrington Pond you can take a hike along the Cold Brook Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Crooked River.
